9-May - Northernden GC
Northernden GC is new course in recent years, set on the banks of the River Mersey just south of Manchester. The course was opened in 1913 and offers a stunning setting with tree lined fairways and water hazards. With a recently upgraded clubhouse and state of the art practise facilities, another excellent choice.
12-Jun - High Legh Park GC
High Legh is another course in the local region for most members, set in a beautiful corner of Cheshire between Lymm and Knutsford. The course is a young course set on an ex air force training camp, the club boasts 18 hole and 9 hole courses. An excellent value for money course and will offer a trick or two up its sleeve.
18-Jul - Lancaster GC
Lancaster GC is a recent host to TAGGS, in 2022 when Darren Smith was Captain. Another of this years courses to figure in our top 20 courses visited. An historic clubhouse gives you an idea of the spectacular views, along with some exceptionally manicured holes. Another 'must go' for the 2025 season.
5-Aug - Sandiway GC
Sandiway is one of Cheshire's best known courses, TAGGS have visited a number of times and cannot get enough of it. Located in the heart of Mid-Cheshire, Sandiway is a real test of golf and yet offers so many stunning views. Once more it features in our top 20 courses visited in recent years.
25-Oct - Porthmadog GC - Captain's Day
Steve Occleston ends his year where he is a member, Porthmadog GC. Set on the North Wales coast the course defines a 2 in 1 course. The front 9 is mostly parkland and the back 9 links. The course has some unbelievable views of the bay below, an absolute stonker to end the year on.
